Rev. Evangelist Celia Simms was called, commissioned and charged to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ from the age of 16.  She answered God’s calling and graduated from Free Gospel Bible Institute in Pennsylvania.

 

 She was immediately thrust into the harvest and served in short-term missions work in Antigua, Barbuda and Jamaica, W.I.  She also served as Youth Pastor, Worship Leader, Choir, Discipleship team and taught marriage classes at Bronx wood International Church of God.

 

          Rev. Celia Simms, Co-Pastors with her husband at Hope International Worship Center, but fulfills her mandate in doing the work of an evangelist beyond the church walls. She is an anointed preacher and teacher of God’s Word and has traveled extensively preaching and singing the gospel for the past thirty-five years. From Haiti to Ghana, South Africa, Europe, Canada, and the Caribbean many souls have come to know Christ as Savior. Her anointed message of healing, restoration and transformation transcends cultural and denominational barriers.  She is a Psalmist, Worship Leader, and Intercessor, She has a weekly Prayer Clinic on Tuesdays @ 12:30pm along with a Word Clinic (Sharpening Your Sword) on Thursdays @ 12:30pm via Facebook and YouTube Live. Rev Simms has a Master’s degree in Biblical Leadership & Expository Preaching from Trinity Theological Seminary.
